Dear friends… Aamra Prabashi, through its social welfare arm Prabashi Bondhu, is delighted to donate two sets of school uniforms for 55 children of Vivekanand Balakashram, Yeoor Hills, Thane.
The uniform distribution event was held at our Aamra Prabashi office — Astoria 504, Hiranandani Estate — where the children from Vivekanand Balakashram visited us to receive the uniforms. Their joy lit up our hearts!!
We were deeply honoured to have with us our very senior Aamra Prabashi family members Mr. A K Roy, Mr. Chandrashekhar Mukherjee, and Mrs. Kavita Mukherjee. Their warm presence brightened
the occasion.
Presence of respected President of Aamra Prabashi Mr Subhashish Das and other MC members added immense value to this meaningful initiative.
Moments like these remind us why we do what we do — to give back, to uplift, and to stand together for a better tomorrow!!

Aamra Prabashi, Thanehas created a rich legacy of social work since the last two decades. We regularly provide food, garments, educational aids to the Mobile Crecheof Hiranandani Estate. We support NGOs like Pranab Kanya Sangha and Bharat Sevashram Sangha that work for the upliftment of destitute girl children and cancer treatment. We organize blood donation camps in association with Tata Memorial Hospital and Indian Red Cross Society.
We also collaborate with global charitable organizations like the Red Cross, UNICEF and CRY for humanitarian work spread across the span. During natural disasters and the recent pandemic, we have dispatched consignments of relief material for the needy.
A large chunk of our philanthropic work is driven by contributions from individuals and grants from organizations. Your generous donations will help us bring joy and relief to those who need it most.

1. Prabashi Bondhu Spreads Monsoon Care!!
Distributes Hygiene Kits and Spreads Smiles at Children Community Centre, Turpe Pada!!
On 19th of July 2025, Prabashi Bondhu, the social welfare arm of Aamra Prabashi, took another step towards community wellness by distributing Monsoon Hygiene Kits at the Children Community Centre, Turpe Pada, near Hiranandani Estate, Thane.
This centre serves as a safe and nurturing space for children from families of domestic helpers while their parents are away at work. Understanding the health challenges that come with the monsoon season, Prabashi Bondhu thoughtfully curated hygiene kits for each child. These kits included:
A short talk was also delivered to make the children understand how to use the items provided to them in the kit.
We were deeply honoured to have two of our most senior and respected members, Mrs. Krishna Das and Mrs. Kanta Dey, join us for this meaningful initiative. Their gracious presence and warm encouragement were truly motivating for all of us involved in today’s activity.
Prabashi Bondhu : Activities Report 2023-24
Aamra Prabashi takes immense pride to stand in support of the community as Prabashi Bondhu. We look at the community as a social group where we share common interests and stand united in this close knit network for the welfare of all. For years we have played a proactive role in supporting the various groups of the society at the times of need and the Year 2023 -24 has been no exception.
Many projects were planned and executed all round the year.
1. Alert Health Care and Awesome Learning !!
This health and education programme was executed in the monsoon season at Hiranandani Estate Mobile Creche, where children of Labourer get education when their parents are busy , earning a living. Probashi Bondhus distributed Education and Learning Kits to the children as per their age. These kits included Note Books, Stationary and Activity Books and Material to make their process of Learning Awesome. Talks were conducted for the children regarding how to maintain health and hygiene during monsoon and not falling sick. Medicated Soaps were also distributed among the children.
2. Let us Learn to Let Go !!
This was an Awesome Talk dedicated to Management of Stress in daily life for people of all age groups. Objective of this event was to support the physical and mental welfare of all. Probashi Bondhus kept this event open to all. Experts Ms Santosh Deora , A Yoga Therapist and Stress Management Expert , and Ms Bhavya Dhawan , A Clinical Psychologist and Regression Therapist , addressed the Audience and shared various interesting ways to shun the stress factors away from our daily lives and live Stress Free.
3. Spreading Happiness !!
Probash Bondhus, in the spirit of Durga Pujo Celebrations, Donated generously for the welfare of the Girl Child to Pranab Kanya run Orphanage and Shelter Home . The young girls were also invited to be our guests during the Pujo Days at the Aamra Probashi Pujo Pandal and Bhog was distributed to them. It was our humble effort to share happiness of Pujo days with these children.
4. Comfort for the Needy!!
On Maha Ashtami Day of Durga Pujo , Probashi Bondhus generously contributed for the Patients of Regional Mental Health Hospital , Thane. Shoes were donated for the Patients of this hospital with the sole purpose of making their lives comfortable. Hospital Administrators attended this event and received this humble donation.
