Since its inception, Aamra Prabashi Thane has remained deeply committed to observing Durga Puja rituals with authenticity, precision, and heartfelt devotion. Over the years, our Pujo has earned its place as one of the most spiritually enriching and culturally immersive celebrations in the region.
Traditional Rituals – Observed with Full Devotion
Like every year, all major rituals will be performed in accordance with Bengali customs and traditions:
- Panchami to Dashami: Each day begins with traditional puja offerings, mantras, and aarti led by experienced purohits.
- Saptami, Ashtami, and Navami: These three days will feature grand bhog offerings, open to all devotees, symbolizing community sharing and blessings.
- Dhak beats will echo through the mandap, infusing every ritual with energy and rhythm.

Selected local schools and music/dance academies will present theme-based performances — showcasing young talent and creative storytelling.

The Women’s Wing of Aamra Prabashi Thane kicks off the cultural lineup with grace and power, presenting group songs, dances, and theatrical acts that truly set the tone for the festival. Their participation reflects both tradition and evolving roles in modern society.
Ashtami Night – The Bengali Heritage Evening
A soulful night dedicated to Bengali folk, Rabindra Sangeet, dance dramas, and regional artistic expressions performed by renowned Bengali artistes and community members. A must-attend for those seeking a nostalgic, authentic experience.
Navami Night – The Grand Bollywood Showcase
A high-energy evening featuring celebrity performers, fusion music, and Bollywood dance shows, bringing the house down with a star-studded performance. A celebration of the Puja spirit in its most entertaining form!
